Justin is an international show jumper who has competed in the sport since the age of eight. Beth his wife also competes to a high level on the local circuit whilst supporting Justin.

Justin has now been ranked in the top 50 riders for several years and has had success abroad culminating in an appearance in a Nations Cup team in early 2008.

Based near Totnes in Devon, Justin and Beth have up to 13 horses on the yard at any one time. They range from international competition horses to youngsters that are in for schooling.

Between them Justin and Beth teach, have horses in to school, and compete. On a typical day they will ride the horses with the help of the grooms. Justin and Beth will give lessons that have been booked throughout the day, at home or away. The horses will also go on the “Horse Walker” for exercise and cooling off. And the rest of the day consists of turning the horses out, mucking out, grooming, cleaning tack, clipping and feeding.
